syntax error, unexpected 'h' in Weather Sky
« on: April 21, 2016, 07:23:40 PM »
Hi,

I'm trying to set up my website using the Weather Sky template. CumulusMX is running on my Raspberry Pi but my site is hosted elsewhere.

I followed the directions but the message I'm getting when I go to my site is this:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'h' (T_STRING) in /home/oakvhlrs/public_html/wt_data_inc.php on line 486

I appreciate any help in figuring out what's going on. Thanks!

Hi,
This could be caused by the changes in the way Cumulus MX handles hour, month days plus a whole load of other parameters which are in the file you refer to.

Please take a look at this link which is what I prepared for WB2 template. This may also be relevant to the weather Sky template. There is a file in this thread that you can download and use for comparison and try to work out the changes.

The changes in Cumulus MX can be found here.

Scroll about halfway down the page to see the format changes.

Hope that helps

Andy

I figured it out so I'll post it in case someone else runs into it. I had the FTP port wrong in CumulusMX.

I fixed that and I'm in business!  :)
