Hi Pete,
Your installation is going pretty well!
I like in particular your bridge picture, it seems pretty ancient!
for your little details to finish:
1- For your monthly records, you have first to "initialise" your Cumulus data.
To do it go to menu
Edit --> Monthly records, a screen will appear and show
many empty lines with only titles (High Temp, Low Temp, High Gust and so on).
On top, you'll see also tabs with each month names.
This table is empty as no data was read from log files. Then to view all recorded
data, you have to use bottom buttons
fetch log data and
fetch dayfile data to fill
your screen with all-time and day data. When table is filled, you have for each line
to choose which record seems to be the good one.
You have to do that procedure for all months in upper tabs. This "tedious task" has to
be done because (too??) often cheap stations produce "spikes" in data (a wind gust of
485mi/h or a temp of 178f)... for these erroneous datas you'll be happy to have 2 columns
to choose from!!
2 - For your gauges.htm page, you have to put that page into the whole bunch of pages
to process in the
Cumulus\web folder. The page itselft need processing in addition to
realtimegaugesT.txt used by SteelSeries gauges library. This
gaugesT.htm has to be
processed each time to update Cumulus copyrights in the bottom page (But instead
strip these copyrights as they "fool" users on which update time is the good one!).
Also, your
infos.htm page have to be processed al least once to "fill the blank" (for location,
coordinates and other Pc/station informations.)
Hope these will help you to refine your site!
Then, welcome to the world of happy "Weathermasters"
Best regards,
Jacques
