New pywws powered linux weather station

Well, I got my weather station going. This board was very helpful.  :)

You can find it here. It's the Weather Nature template for pywws with some minor mods. I liked the way wuthton positioned the moon phase in the template, so I did it the same way on mine. I had the most "fun" in editing all the templates for US units - thank goodness the wind was already mph.

I'll probably start changing the look a bit to more closely match the rest of my site, as well as change some of the graph ranges to fit the data better, but it seems to be doing fine.

I did want to ask, what's a reasonable update interval? I have the weather station currently set to 10 minutes, and update pywws and my page every 20 minutes.

Hi Jl,
I'm happy that the template pleased you!  8)

Many users had problem to change units used, if you have some
"recepice" to share, or "updated" files, don't hesitate to send it!

For your interval question, I see  most weather station between 10-20 mins.
All depends on your Pc availibility and strenght! On smallest installation
(embedded devices) 5 minutes interval could be a challenge!

Jacques

Yeah, that web template was nice! I even like the look, but it doesn't match my home page too close, so I'll eventually change it.

Sounds like my update period is about right, then. The PC I use for handling this is plenty strong enough to handle a 1 minute period, but I didn't see the need for it.

I'm "tweaking" a couple of the templates, but I'll make an arc to post in case it helps others. I didn't change ALL the templates, just the ones the page uses.
