I joined the site and I downloaded weatherbyyou weather eden, before I had the classic site basis, the set, I uploaded all the files and folders decompressed weather eden of the site of course erasing everything that was there before, but something is wrong , cumulus update the server altervista.org but the site does not open

Hi Genesis,
I think your installation is not completed!
You have to send all files AND folders from .zip file to your weather site!
I've searched to access Eden.css file and nothing occurs!
So, check to send all files and folders, to have as final goal a weather folder
containing all files (and folders) as you see in left column (http://weatherbyyou.com/we_sheet.php)

Four things I've noticed.
1. You still have index.htm and index.php
2. You still have all the Cumulus .htm files uploaded.
3. You don't appear to have uploaded the eden style sheet = eden.css
4. All the navigation URLs load the same details
I recommend deleting everything then uploading ONLY the .php files
Then tell Cumulus to process the .php files
http://weatherbyyou.com/ws_install.php is for Weather Sky by still applies.

Hi Genesis,
On 4th you're processing an inexisting file!
"realtime.txt" is a file generated by Cumulus itself when choosing
realtime option in Station Configuration.
Your 5th point, look at your file wt_data_inc.php to see if the file
was processed and see that line 589 to see if something wrong with it!

thanks for the indication was set up a web cam site of the town of Senigallia, now removed the site ok.
Now I find other problems,
1 - gauges menu is not visible
2 - I modified index.php but the message on the site Welcome to Amateur Station in Senigallia does not appear
3 - I replaced a photo in the folder C: \ cweather_eden_v1 \ images \ slides and I did the same in C: \ cweather_eden_v1 \ images \ slides \ thumbs renamed (1.jpg and t1.jpg) but the site still appears the same as before

that you file realtimegaugesT.txt is missing. You have
to process that file as an optional file.

2. number 3 files deleted file gauges + all realtimes website
3. new files in C: \ gauges and realtime

Hi Stefano,
I think you have processed file "realtime.txt" , that page is created by
Cumulus when option "Realtime.txt FTP" is ticked in Configuration --> Internet --> Site menu
Trying to process that file cause a file corruption.

Hi Stefano,
An other little mistake is your monts file. Remote file
supposed to be: wt_months.php (notice the 'S')
For your gauge problem, we can "trace" the error with that line:
error_reporting(E_ALL);
Put it in gauges_ss.php, just before this line:
session_start();

Some times things couldn't be 'trapped' that way.

Hi Stefano,
For your gauges, simply copy folder dbimages with all files,
from your Pc (eg C:\Cumulus dbimages) to the folder where
are your weather site. Actually, you have only .js files.
For bad weather sent, double verify your configuration and see Cumulus forum (http://sandaysoft.com/forum/).

Your site still have no images into dbimages folder (one word)
when I access it... no images in that folder! Be sure to verify if dbimages
is in the same directory as your weather page (today.htm, yesterday.htm...)
into your website.

I'm preparing myself for using "Weather Eden" template and I've noticed the following:
1. In your "Cumulus configuration" part of an "installing instruction (http://weatherbyyou.com/we_install.php#install ) you wrote:
"On a 3rd line, enter realtimeT.txt as local filename and realtime.txt as remote filename
(Need Cumulus Internet Realtime Web settings)".
There is NO realtimeT.txt file in downloaded "weather eden_v1-1.zip file".
Should it be realtimegaugesT.txt file? If so correct an instruction please.
2. Why have you placed realtime.txt file in your zip package?

Thanks for quick response and sorry for coming to you again. Don't you think that the text about necessity to process "realtimegaugesT.txt file should be placed in your "installing instruction"?
In my opinion it may happen that it will be read by people (like me) with no experience in "template installing process" and that they should be given an instruction that will help them to do so. This can cause that there will be less problems as described in this topic. It does not mean of course that they should not think (at least a little - I'm trying but sometimes with no success).
