Forecast icons - pywws template showing BBC icons

(1/1)

Cheltenham:
Hi

I've just linked up my Maplin's USB weather station to a Raspberry Pi running pywws.

All is going well, apart from the icons on my website show the BBC icons and not the images in the images/forecast folder. How do I fix this?

See: http://weather.cheltenham.travel/

Many thanks

Robert

Mr.Meteo:
Hi Robert,

In your page, you have that code instead:

--- Code: ---<p><img src="http://static.bbci.co.uk/weather/0.3.203/images/icons/individual_57_icons/en_on_light_bg/7.gif"
title="Actual forecast" alt="Icon not available" /></p>
<p>Saturday: White Cloud<br /></p>
<p>Sunday: Sunny Intervals<br /></p>
--- End code ---

I think that this is a script that you added for a tommorow forecast
as it use picture 7.gif (a numeric value) instead of usual A to Z forecast letters.

So, check your page, this script include its own forecast image.

Jacques

Cheltenham:
Hi and thanks for the advice.
I used the Raspberry Pi image provided by http://www.weather.dragontail.co.uk/ and I've noticed that his website also includes the BBC icons. I've contacted him for help.

MichaelZep:
I love your icons Jacques and I am using them.

Can I have your permission to use them on my website as well?

Mr.Meteo:
Hi Micheal,

You could use these icons for  sure!
These are public icons.

Regards,
Jacques
