Background # Color
« on: June 24, 2012, 11:41:09 PM »
Hi Jacques,

Quick and easy question from here:
I just installed the visitors counter (Flag counter) to my website.
I would like to have the exact same color in the flag counter bckgrd display as in the template background, and have tried many different combinations (from several css files) however still no precise match (the closest I came to is: 0B73ED)
The one I found in one of the css files is: 074690 (= too dark)
It should be the solid blue color on the bottom of the page within the clouds template (fading to the solid blue)
Can you help me out here??

Thanks,

Arthur

Hi Arthur,

To match around counter color, you have to use color: #3679CA.

Are you working on your site with Firefox? There is a really useful
"color picker" (I use Rainbow v.1.5.1)

Regards,
Jacques

Hi Jacques,

I made too many Business Powerpoint presentations, which had (for my "standards") to be perfect in display  :D
Same kind of thought for Website display......
This looks indeed perfect in color blending!!
Thanks again

Hi Jacques,

AS you might observe, I like to experiment a bit with colours (contrast, brighter, darker etc).
I've edited the template background (bg_clouds.jpg) however when I upload it, only half the page is set with the new color (darker) and not the bottom part of the page. (there is a line in the middle, separating the colours, no blending).
Do I have to edit another image as well to make it a complete (colour blended) page?

thanks,

Arthur

Hi Arthur,

There is image in the upper part only.
Now you have to found with your color picker what is now the final
fading color to match you "new" upper image.

Jacques
Ps. Sorry, big day today... virus caused need to reinstall dev Pc
