Weather Icons
« on: February 09, 2012, 06:00:07 AM »
Hi Jacques,

I have just got back from giving a talk to 3 classes of 6 - 8 year old children and of course they have seen the website which they love and are using in their class project.

Two seperate classes had expressed that they thought the weater images used on the main page for the forcast were a little confusing.

I see that you have some images for the sunny weater template, will thease work with the superb blue template?.

I lookforward to hearing,

Regards,

Tim

Hi Tim,

What a great experience! Working on weather with kids!  :D
For now, all templates are based on first icon set: Grzanka icons.
I'm working with these icons because they are my favorites.
This icon set is completed with "winter kit" (include snow)

You could probably show that page for Grzanka most complete set :
http://meteoduquebec.com/icones_grzanka.html

Also I have a page for an other set (Aqua), least complete, but really different :
http://meteoduquebec.com/icones_aqua.html  (no winter kit)

Then, for Weather Blues or Sunny Weather, icons are the same... Grzanka.

Have fun with them!
Jacques

Hi Tim,

Yes the icon set that you point (Winter Kit) is specially made for Cumulus.
But, be adviced that the Winterr Kit need to be installed over your regular set.
(It contain only icons with snow or ice)

In English "Download" menu, it's calling WinterKit.zip
