Title: Wrong forecast icons in PYWWS template?
Post by: jimicek on October 01, 2012, 07:37:54 AM
Hi Jacques,
I think there are wrong forecast icons copied to the PYWWS "Weather Nature" template - I compared folder /images/forecast contents with http://www.weatherbyyou.com/icons_grzanka.php icons, and there are some wrong settings. At least H should be Forecast #8 daytime icon (currently is nighttime icon), and also R-X icons are not according to the table. If I am right, please correct the template.
Regards,
Jimicek

Hi Jimicek,

Effectively, Icons from forecast R to X are a little mixed! Then, I've corrected page and .zip file.
See: http://www.weatherbyyou.com/pywws_grzanka.php

For Icons H and R, moon has been used for these icons because word "later" is used in both forecasts:

Forecast: H - Fairly fine, showery later
Forecast: R - Unsettled, precipitation later

Use of that link is erroneous http://www.weatherbyyou.com/icons_grzanka.php, as it is the
Night and Day icons set for Cumulus.
Then "later" is used in a more precise way: "later in the day" and "later in the night".

But those icons has been choosed without pywws users advices availability,
If other users agree, things could be modified. The same for the day/night specification
as the template is build in Php/Python... all is possible!

Regards,
Jacques
