Blues V2 Graph Issue
« on: January 11, 2016, 09:52:18 AM »
Hi all, I've installed Blues_v2 template with cumulus and I have a problem with graphs upload on web site. When I try to click Trends menu on the web site I see the page with the 3D graph image not updated.
On cumulus app I have the correct 2d graph updated.

I don't know why online I haven't graph updated.
Anyone can help me?

Regards,
Gianluca

Hi Gianluca,

Verify that the box "Include Standard Images" is checked.
In Cumulus menu Configuration --> Internet

Extra web files
Local Filename: /home/pi/CumulusMX/wt_data_inc.php
Remote Filename: root/wt_data_inc.php

Hi,
Firstly I would look on your web server for the graphs folder and see if the files are getting updated. When were they last uploaded (whats the date & timestamp). This is to check that the files are being uploaded. What is the location of the graphs folder.

Next, is the graphs folder in the same location as your other files. The trends.php file points to a folder called images which should be in the same place.

If you are using Cumulus (not CumulusMX) your images folder should contain png files (i.e. wind.png, temp.png etc.)

If you are using Cumulus MX then the folder will contain json files. These run in an entirely different way and you need to be running a Javascript program called highstock to display the graphs. You will need to refer to the Cumulus website forum to see how this is implemented.

Happy to reply if you need further help.

Andy

Hi everyone,

I have migrated to Cumulus Mx 3.0 on RaspBerry Pi3, It's very fantastic, but I have 2 issue.
I use Weather Blues templete V2.2 but I'm going crazy about the web charts that doesn't work.
I have read  the ather post about highstock. I've downloaded the tool, but I don't know how to configure it.

Another question. Why the moon.bmp on the web doesn't change?

Do you someone help me?
Regards Gianluca

Hi Gianluca,

Cumulus 1 and 3 are pretty different, mostly for graphics.
As you see, MX produce no images at all, nope moon.bmp file.

You could check Mark Crosley's "packages" in its site:
http://weather.wilmslowastro.com/scripts.php

There is 2 different scripts for javascript or php config.

Jacques

Hi Jacques,

I've checked the link http://weather.wilmslowastro.com/scripts.php but the only script that I've seen is "Moon Phase". I have found on the web this station meteo with cumulus Mx 3.0 and the nice moon image.

http://meteoedintorni.altervista.org/meteo/mx/index.htm

Have you an idea whitch kind of script has been used?

Many thanks,
Gianluca
