MDQ Blues weird problem for navigation bar
« on: April 26, 2012, 03:35:50 PM »
Hello all and thank you Jacques for your great template, i love it! I have to specify that i am a dummie about html, CSS and all that stuff, so forgive me if i will say something really obvious or stupid.
In my website http://meteogrignasco.altervista.org (still working on it, it's not complete) when i click the button named "Immagini Webcam" i see that the Navigation Bar changes slightly its aspect (mostly how buttons' names are centered on that bar) and that on the top left corner u can see the word "Grignasco" typed with a different style than in all the other pages.
I checked and did a comparison  between that page and all the other ones and i see no differences, so i am guessing what's going wrong
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

Stefano

Hi Stephano,

Effectively, you have found a "bug" in that page.  :D

Because regular menu was on one line, nobody has found this problem,
but with your layout on 2 lines, every little bit of space have it's place!

To correct your problem, go to folder slides/lib, you will find a file gallery.css.
Edit it in very top you will find that line:
  line-height: 140%;

Simply delete this line and your menu will be perfect!

Thanks to report this bug!
Jacques

Merci beacoup Jacques!  :D
To be honest, the modding work of your wonderful Blues template was done by a friend of mine, Snow57 (he should be registered in this forum). I simply copied his work and now i am customizing it with my poor programming skills.
Thank you again!

  Jacques, i hope to not be annoying, but i am still wondering why the font of the word "Grignasco" (in the upper left corner of the page that we mentionned) is different from all the other "Grignasco" in the same place of all the other pages....
:D  BTW: i did what U suggested and now the menu is perfect, thank U again!
