« on: June 06, 2016, 05:49:12 PM »
Another thing my new to all things weather mind doesn't understand is this...

Last hour variation (3hrs)   -1.6°C
Last hour variation (Falling)   -2.7°C

Can somebody please explain this to me? copied from my index.php

Many (many) thanks for the help, wasn't sure if it was some form of meteorological speak so not sure what to do ;)

Just in case people ask am guessing this refers to Temperature rather than Feel like Temp, Apparent Temp, wet thermometer or Average Temp?

Would something like google translate be ok for changing all the language files?

Ecce,
I checked on the mapping between the Cumulus webtags and WB2 variables. It seems that anything with "temptrend" is last 3 hours and "TempChangeLastHour" is, well, the last hour obviously  :))

Here's the mapping. The "$" variables are the WB2 side and the "<#" are the Cumulus webtags.

$temptrend = "<#temptrend>";
$temptrendtext = "<#temptrendtext>";
$temptrendenglish = "<#temptrendenglish>";
$TempChangeLastHour = "<#TempChangeLastHour>";

So for consistency my personal opinion would be to change the language files to something like

$Tr_temptrend = "Last 3 hour variation";

And then adding the following:
$Tr_TempChangeLastHour = "Last hour variation";

I never knew there were different variables for different times so I have learnt something new today. Now have to run off to check my website to see which I am using and if I am doing it correctly.
