Hi Giu,

Problem is caused by a "not processed" data file.
wt_data_inc.php need to be processed by Cumulus to replace
strange characters (for Php) with valid weather data.

Check step "Cumulus configuration" on this link:
http://weatherbyyou.com/wb_install.php#install

Hope this help!

Jacques

Thanks for the answer, I think I've done what I've read, in support of the template, place the following configuration Cumulus.
Cowever it is strange, because it seems that Cumulus does not process any data, I do not riesc to understand what is the cause

Hi Giu,

If you don't see evidence that Cumulus is sending data and images
by checking file timestamp in your website, you could probably verify
your ftp configuration in Cumulus --> Configuration --> Internet settings.

Also, when configure files to send (wt_data...), double check your
remote filename for exact path that match your installation.

Jacques

Hi Giuseppe,

That is normal with php Templates, you send all the Template and
Cumulus send only data files. Then, with Php, "frame" is always there!

When Cumulus update your site, you are supposed to see files "renewed"
with their timestamp. Also, in Cumulus, you could send a "Manual update"
with menu "File --> Web Update", this will show you in text what Cumulus
try to do and files sent.

This could be a little "tricky", but Weather Blues v1 is completed with
some pages (infos, system) that need that kind of "Optional page processing"

So, first step, check with your favorite ftp program, to see timestamp
changing or maybe files going at wrong place (wt_data.. need to be in same
directory as index.php)

Regards,
Jacques

Ps Maybe a link could be helpful too!

Hi Jacques,
finally works, following your instructions, in particular with regard to the index.php file must be in the same directory wt_ ... before I had read that this file had to be in a folder like "public_html"

Now I tried to move the file wt_ ... in the root of the website, where there is the index.php file, and it works, I thank you very much for the help to find the error

Giuseppe

Hi Giuseppe,

I'm happy that things works now on your site!
You know, Php version is a must... and without some
errors to search for... no new knowledge!

So, now I'll watch your site for some beautiful photos of Italy!

Hi Jacques,

I am here, I would implement the gauges-dark_UV, in this case the file realtimegaugesT must be processed by cumulus? In addition, after the files included in the web site I have to rename some files?

Finally I would like to implement the site, even files Forecast, you can tell me how should I put the files downloaded WB2_NWSForecast_v1.
I'm sorry but I have no familiarity with php, only with a real help I can manage future implementations, as well as the saying goes, "practice makes grammar"

Regards
Giuseppe

Hi Giuseppe,

I see that you succeed with the gauges pages... Bravo!
For the Advanced forecast, you have to unzip the file to a folder
in your Pc and edit the file advforecast2.php.

In line #97, you will found gov station code (Actually: NMZ009)
in line #99, you will find the complete adresse for forecast data
  (ex. http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lat=36.82223&lon=-107.99284549999999&unit=0&lg=english&FcstType=text&TextType=2)

You could go to this adress : http://www.weather.gov/forecastmaps
to find your area.... in the USA!!

Hi Jacques,

Finally, after several attempts, I managed to put all the pieces in place regarding the gauges.

Instead, for the forecasts, I realized that apply only to the USA and Canada, but you can implement something similar applies to Europe, give me a suggestion

Giuseppe
