!!..Virus..!!..??

Hi Guys,

Tonight I noticed that "out of the blue" some text in my Weather Blues had changed. Some words with "degree" (Cooling Degree Days) in it were suddenly underlined and it directs you to a website of "CDI College- New Career". For sure I DID NOT PUT THIS LINK IN!!!!!
I noticed the same in Tom's last message on the forum in which you talk about 32 degree F....
Anything about this known to you..???
Scanned my PC and it didn't find anything....

You might also want to scan with Spybot Search and Destroy. It often finds stuff that Norton and McAfee don't.

I'd also do a google search for CDI New college....

Maybe send an email to your provider about that...it may be something on their server :?

Is the link embedded on your web template and can you see it with your editor ?

Maybe you have fixed it cuz its not appearing on my side

Did you ever figure out how your webpage got hijacked? Was it at the server level? Was it a virus on your computer? Malware?

Hi Tom,

Sorted it out....
After contacting webhost, it seemed nothing wrong overthere...
Followed your advise and purchased PC Tools + Antivirus and the threat was deteted (Spyware.Known_Bad_Sites).
Also modified some settings in IE for "Privacy and Security"). (Banned testenhance.com and textsrv.com sites).
All works well, no unexpected links to other sites.
