I haven't been able to find this anywhere so I am asking here. I would like to have the gauges in the Weather Eden template refresh the data more often than 60 seconds (I want 15 seconds actually). I once used the Steel Series gauges with the default Cumulus template and I know how to edit the gauges.js file to change the counter time with that template. Can someone tell me if there is a way to do this with the Weather Eden template? The only gauges.js file is contained in a zip file and I don't know how to make the change. Thanks.

Jody

Hi Jody,

in folder lib/gauges-ss you'll found file gauges.js
This file contain parameters used by these gauges. To change delay,
simply find this line (line #22):

Code: [Select]
counter           : 60,                     //download data counter (secs, default 60)
... and change this delay, in seconds.

Jacques

Im using weather_eden_v1-2 but I don't have lib/gauges-ss

The only folders in lib are
lib/gallerific
lib/steelseries

None of them have the file gauges.js

Please help

Hi,
In the "lib/steelseries" you will find "gauges.wby.js" file. You have to edit this file (I,m using "Notepad++" editor), and FIND the sequence "counter:60" (you have to find it because in this file all text is in ONE line - at least in my case).
If you are using an UV gauge you have to do the same with the file "gauges_UV.wby.js"

Piotr
