Hi tiko,
I'm happy to see that this template pleased you!
I'm about to pack it... and I'm curious...
any benefits to compress it .tar instead of zip for a Linux user?

Hi
Well PYWWS is made for routers, NAS's device's and other similar linux device's. Also PYWW is made with Python and can be used in any machine with Python. So users can use many different platforms to control it. So I dont' think that tar is more or less better format than zip.

I myself run PYWWS in NAS and controlling it with win PC.

New template looks great, I'm doing some modifycations now to index.php and index.txt. There is no index.html file, what is mentioned in readme file. Also forecast_icon9am.txt template stuck hole pywws. Maybe too old pywws version (r429) or maybe something else.

Hi tiku,

I apologize for error on index.html file, the right file is index.php
For pywws, you need release r510 or newer

I've made corrections to template description and read.me file.

Thanks,
Jacques
Ps I'm running on Asus RT-N16 Router

Hi tiku,

Ok! You are the guy who arrange it's site with very strange words?? ;)
(Kuuroittainen, ajoittain kirkkaampaa.)

Thanks for the great template.  Got it all working using a Raspberry Pi connected to a WH1081.

Just a minor issue, the "Months" link is including 24hours.txt.  I'm assuming it should be allmonths.txt instead?

The demo site hosted here is also showing the same bug.

I'm using the latest Nature pywws template.

Cheers

p.s. the captcha on this forum is really annoying

Hi,

Thanks for feedback on Nature template, I've correct zip and demo!

I searched about this "Raspberry Pi" and found that you're a lucky guy!  :)
You"re one of the few that have a Raspberry Pi in hand!!

I think it's a small wonder for Weathermasters!
How's your project? Model A or B? Is it reliable 24/24hrs?
(it will be available in Canada tomorrow... I'm curious!!)

Hope some news!

Thanks,
Jacques
Ps. Sorry for captcha, too much spams!  :(

Great.  Another bug I found is the "1 hour" page, the degrees celcius on temp has a funny A character.

Yeah, the Raspberry Pi's are hard to get at the moment.. I got mine as part of the second batch in June.

I got the model B (with ethernet), its only been set up for 3 days now.. working without any issues so far.

I followed the great tutorial here http://www.dragontail.co.uk/raspberry.html for setting it up.

I didn't want pywws writing the weather data to the SD card every hour so I have the data dir on a remote server using NFS.

I also have the Raspberry Pi hooked up to my house power monitor, so it is getting live data of my homes power consumption and charting that too.

Great little device.

Thanks for promoting my site www.dragontail.co.uk. I like the look of the template here and may change mine
How did you connect to your power monitor?

Hi,
today I've found your pywws templates. I really love the design.

I tried to download it from the download section but the ZIP-file containing the template is corrupt.
Any chance to get a fixed version?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Psionic,

I've uploaded a new version this morning, with minor fixes.
I've not tested the archive... sorry!  :(

I've sent a new "tested" archive.

Regards,
Jacques
