Weatherblues Images
« on: March 15, 2013, 08:58:32 AM »
Hi, I'm in the process of testing the Weatherblues HTML template to update my Cumulus Web Page. All seemed pretty straightforward but I'm not quite sure how the Images page works. Do I have to enter each image individually and make my own thumbnail for it or can it be done by the software script driving the slide viewer. (I'm not talking about the header images but the ones on the Images page). Also it would appear to work with most browsers but not Firefox or the similar Sea Monkey.
Thanks, Dave

Hi Dave,

Yes, slideshow is a basic script because, complete is often complex!
Weather by You! is trying to focus on beginers, so too much options is
not welcome. Cutting and sizing images are basic task that all webmasters
have to know... so a bit of practice!

For images, 1 thing, height is the key!
Large images are 400px height.
Thumbnails are 60px height.

Hope this help,

Regards,
Jacques

Thanks for the quick reply Jacques. Makes sense - I can do that, just didn't want to spend the time if there was an alternative.  ;)
