Title: What is your Date/Time format??

Hi,

I'm interested to see each of you Date format!
In many country and/or language, format is different

If having interest, I'll consider to include more Date format

So, What is your prefered Date/Time format??

Hi Jacques,

For Poland (and for the whole UE I think) the standard (according ISO 8601) format is:
For the DATE: YYYY-MM-DD (Year-month-day)
For theTIME: hh:mm:ss (hour:minutes:seconds)

Downunder (NZ and AUS), it's DD:MM:YYYY

Here in the States (USA), it is MM/DD/YYYY.

In The Netherlands it's DD-MM-YYYY

Hi Mr.Meteo,
In the U.S. the common format is MM/DD/YY or MM/DD/YYYY.
A lot of people prefer the month spelled out: March 25, 2016. It's an instant recognition whereas 3/25/2016 requires the brain to translate 3 into March and also to determine what date format it is- MM/DD/YY or DD/MM/YY (some brains are faster than others). 3/4/16 is a challenge to determine if it is March 4th or April 3rd.
I would guess roughly 80% of the U.S. prefers am/pm although some of them have to contemplate is 12am noon or midnight? This is also locally influenced as those living near large military bases are much more adapt to 24hr format compared to average.
