Title: Page Titles
Post by: avoorpool on September 04, 2012, 01:06:05 PM
Hi,

Since I've added the UV Forecast, I'm looking into a way to edit the current Page Titles (like Today's, Yesterday's, Forecast etc).
It's a GIF image, but can anyone tell me how to change the image (or provide me with the correct fonts, background, colours and/or image information)???

Thanks,

Arthur

Thanks Tom,

However, it's saved as a GIF image. What about background and color? Shouldn't it be a .png (transparent) image save??

Thanks,

Arthur

Hey Tom,

Figured it out with a little help from Power Point  :)

Thanks again for providing the correct font!!

Cheers,

Arthur

When I played with it, I saved it as a png, and made sure I clicked transparent. I didn't realize that Jacques had created an image for "all-time" so I made my own. But during the process, I found his file and used that one.

I've posted the info Jacques gave me...

For future references:

I used Power Point.
Set text box
Type in text and set correct font (type and size)
Set correct font color (checked other images with ColorPic) and typed in RGB settings
Turned image counterclockwise
Saved as GIF

Looks good!!

Cheers,

Arthur

By the way, if you're interested, I cleaned up the blue bar that's behind the subject headings. Compare yours and mine.  I've attached the cleaned up file (input_txt2.gif). Just put it in your Cumulus/images folder on your server, over-writing the previous file.

Thanks Tom,

I like it, especially since I prefer to have "clean" images.
It hadn't caught my attention, however when you look at it, it's pretty obvious (the double line).
Looks much better now!!!

Cheers,

Arthur
