4-Season 'Weezle' Forecast Icon Set
« on: January 05, 2013, 05:07:01 PM »
Hi,

I've spend some time re-naming the 'Weezle' selection of Weather Forecast Icons so they're comparable with the current Cumulus forecast string (with webtag <#IsFreezing>).
They have a more 'blue-ish' character which nicely fits the Weather Blues background.
The initial selection contained 34 icons (4 seasons) enough to make a total combination of the required 116 icons since many forecast strings are very similar  ;D
(Anyhow, it's hard to  see a difference between: forecast18=Unsettled....Chance of Precipitation Later...
AND forecast19=Unsettled....Some Precipitation Possible...

For those who're interested, all 116 icons with the name path:  'forecast_x_x_x.png' can be downloaded at:
http://www.altonaweather.ca/downloads

To give you an idea, please see attached pictures.

Cheers,

Arthur

Hi,

As suggeted by Jacques, you don't have to download all 116 icons one-by-one  >:D
Download link is the same, however the icons are now in .ZIP format folder.

Hi Arthur
Many thanks for the link to the icon set! They look great and I have got them working after I upgraded to the correct version of Cumulus.
We have just had our first snow here of the year- about 28 cm overnight. Not quite the big snows you get over in Canada but snow none the less!
Hope all is well in Altona Forest
regards
Sean

Hi Sean,

I'm glad you like the forecast icons.
Hopefully they won't snow too many 'Snow' images for you.
28 cm is quite a lot.
We've only had 21cm in Toronto until now.

St Johns, Newfoundland got hit hard last week. 85cm in 1 snowdump!!!!!
Hopefully it will stay like this in Toronto, since I don't like shoveling  :)

The coming week has a cold-snap for us at Altona Weather: Max temp -15, Min temp -21 to -25.........
Hasn't been that bad for the entire winter last year....

Cheers,

Arthur
