I try to match Cumulus forecast as best... and too often,
we scan the sky and see no evidence that the sun will
be back some days!  :-\ :-\

Jacques I understand the facts that some days the sun (or that some nights the moon) be completely hidden from view - that is a reality.

But we are dealing here with icons and they do not have to respect the reality all the time.

My suggestion (also a request) was to remain consistent with all icons (day and night) and have the sun and the moon consistently visible on all icons.
