Title: Environment Canada New Web Site Layout

Hi Jacques,

Environment Canada has changed their Web Site Layout.
I needed to changes several EC scripts to keep them working: successfully.
However, there's one issue with the radar imagery.
The $RawImgURL = 'http://weatheroffice.gc.ca/radar/image.php?base=%s';
Even when I change it to "weather.gc.ca" it doesn't work to show the overlay/City display.

Any idea how to fix this??

Hi Jacques,

I needed to changes several EC scripts to keep them working: Earthquake Canada, Weather Advisories.
However, there's one issue with the radar imagery. ('ec-radar.php')
The $RawImgURL = 'http://weatheroffice.gc.ca/radar/image.php?base=%s';
Any selection of City, Rivers, Radar Rings is not displayed correctly (the image shows but none of the layovers)

Any idea how to fix this??

Hi Arthur,

Long time! For the script, it is a SaratogaWX module,
so check if there is no update on it. This script copy
the page to extract good things; but since you experiment,
if layout change more then a bit, script get fooled.

My copy is not working either.

That is why I was working in datamart directly, but détails miss on it.

Thanks for the reply.
Although my site is slightly 'downgraded' (currently no weather station uploads) the rest of all pages (with many scripts) is still up and running  8)  :)

Ken sent me an update for another script (Earthquake) and I figured out the changes in my Weather Advisories pages, but forgot to look t the radar update...  :-[
Found the 1.09 version, which indicates the EC web changes for radar display.
Will look into it today and see of it works.
I saw on your demo version (the second you displayed) that you do have the City names and other overlays displayed..!!!!!

Hi Jacques,

After downloading the revised script for EC-radar, it all works out well.

Overlays are correctly displayed.

Your demo page looks great (to have 3 overviews of EC Radar Imagery...)
When will that be released???
I remember you've been working on it for quite some time!!!
