Title: Counter Stats
Post by: tfavors on May 18, 2013, 07:57:41 PM
Would it we safe to enter this code on my weather site for tracking. Place right above the body tag at the bottom.  I don't want to mess anything up.  Thoughts anyone and thank you. Terry

tfavors,

What kind of stats are you looking for? I am using Flag Counter (http://s10.flagcounter.com/index.html) for my site. It counts unique visits from different countries. The version I am using is free. I have it in my About (infos.htm) page and it is doing okay on a site that is new and more of a local neighborhood site.

It provides a variety of stats I use it already on my tax office site, it'f free also.  I'm so new at this stuff I ask a lot of questions before I try it.  Don't want anything to mess up what I already got going.  Thanks, Terry

Terry,

I'm pleased to see you got StatCounter working.  ^-^

Which StatCounter code did you use for installation of the StatCounter? I have StatCounter also which hasn't been used for ages now. I need to delete that old project and was wondering which install code you used to install it into your site.

Terry,

Okay, we are on the same page. Except I allow the visible counter, which right now is really not an accurate count by any means. But, in another year, who will notice?
 ;)
