New 'Cool' Pages in Weather Blues
« on: February 26, 2013, 11:55:52 AM »
Hi,

Recently I've added a few interesting pages to my Website:

[Global Weather Networks]:
Shows a Global Map of Personal Weather Stations which are registered with local/National Weather Networks. Uses Google API. (See 'Global Weather')
[Air Quality Map and Pollutant Graphs]:
Gives and interactive Map of Ontario with hourly updates on Air Quality and 3-Day Forecast. It uses the 'Air Quality Ontario - Ministry of the Environment' information, however the script might work with local dedicated websites for Air Quality, and some script modifications accordingly. Air Pollutant Graph page uses Shockwave Flash. (See 'Forecasts')
[USGS World Wide Earthquake Map]:
Shows an interactive Map of the world (using Google API) with the latest Earthquakes (up to 7 Days). (See 'Earthquakes'
[RealTime Space Weather]:
For those who like to book a holiday outside of Mother Earth's bounderies, this page shows Realtime updates of Solar Flares and Aurealis. (See 'Info Pages - Astronomy & Planets')

All (Modified Saratoga) scripts are running in Weather Blues. For those who're interested in any of these scripts, please use the [Site Contact] feature on my website to request a copy (in ZIP format)

Cheers,

Arthur

Hi Arthur,
Your new pages look very 'cool'.
But my astro physics will definitely need a bit of work to fully understand the realtime space page!  ;)

The Weather Blues looks really nice. I think I will play around with it to see what it looks like by the time I get done with it. That infos.htm page is going to be fun. I have no idea how to get the maps to work properly or at lease a well as you have done. It is amazing how easy it can look until I want to try it. But, I'll try it anyway. Wish me luck.
