wb2: real time gauges not working

Dear all,

finally I can say now it works. I don't know why before I had an issue with the website but it is off topic here so I explain my issue in relation with WB v.2 and realtime gauges.

So the website it works 99% , for reference please find here: -http://weather-dublin.net84.net- (I don't know why it doesn't work on my side so I moved to http://dublin-weather.netii.net )
The station is installed in my back garden in Dublin, republic or Ireland.
I bought it wireless because I knew that somebody with great mind had the idea to create a software and the template to manage the data. It is great stuff! It was one of my dream to have a weather station and show my data. :-D

Here the issue explained....

Real time gauges.
I followed the instructions I found in this forum:
realtimegaugesT.txt to be installed into cumulus/web and set up configuration in Internet->files
selecting  Process = Yes, Realtime = Yes ,  FTP = Yes
Processing file public_html/realtimegauges.txt (without T as described in this forum)
Also in the configuration I ticked on the Real time Ftp and 60 seconds interval.
Gauges are the default ones present into the template

On the website part
I checked the files gauges.* in the same dir than realtimegauges.txt
I can see also that the file realtimegauges updates regularly.

When I go to -http://weather-dublin.net84.net/gauges.php-  (i leave this link but I cannot see the page myself), the 2 real time gauges for wind speed and direction are not working and don't show the date.

Thanks for your reply,

I think I have an issue with this free server hosting because it is not working on my side.
now I moved the website to this url which so far seems working but I have now issues of some images.

I don't know why is using realtime when the file should be realtimegauges.txt

I will double check it.
Maybe I have to move to a proper domain.

Hi Donald,

Realtime.txt and realtimegauges.txt are for 2 difefrent pages
first one is for regular gauges and the other is for SteelSeries gauges.

SS Gauges are made of Javascript, then if a visitor doesn't support Js,
he will be redirected to regular (Html) gauges and if it neither support
Flash, middle gauges will be absent, so these "real time" files are both
required!

Hi Jaques,

nice to meet you and thanks for your reply.

I can confirm you that I have both files into the root directory and as for the realtimegauges.txt they are being updated every five minutes.
Flashplayer is updated to the last version and I have also added my website to any exceptions to tranfer/install plug-ins or add-on etc, on my browser so I don't understand how the real time gauges in http://dublin-weather.netii.net/gauges.php doesn't work.

Both files are in chmod 644
I attach in the post.
Not sure if the .php or javascript function is looking into a wrong path. Just my speculation.

Hi Donald,

I can confirm that your gauges pages is searchnig that file:

at that URL: http://dublin-weather.netii.net/realtime.txt

This file is supposed to be in your main Weather site,
in the same folder as pages today, yesterday...
