Moon image
« on: October 15, 2012, 12:15:51 AM »
Hello again,

We are in a new moon phase, but my Weathersky image is of a large moon? Cumulus displays no moon, and I dont know what to check?

Thank you!

brilliant, index fixed  :) but now it looks like we also need to edit each of the tabs as the moon is on each one..

Thank you so much,

Peter

Hi Jacques,

Thank you for putting the fix for all the tabs on template manager, that has worked.

I notice one thing, I don't know if you are aware of it, so I make sure you know.

When the "infos.php" fix was applied, it over-writes my personalised info, so the (YOUR CITY),
google map, our location description has reverted from being about MY location here, to YOUR location in Canada!

I am new to Weather Sky, so I am unsure if this is new, or is that always how the fixes work?

Hi Peter,

Yes, I think having to think a bit more about these pages, as this detail
don't worth the problem it does!

Thanks to give me these precious follow-up, as I publish... without feedbacks
... I feel a little bit like an artist doing a show.... for blinds audience! ;D

Thanks again,
Jacques

And what an artist! I am still a child painting by numbers compared to you Jacques, so don't be disheartened.

Just so I am clear, can I ask 2 questions?

1) Am I right in saying the template manager only updates the files on the server? I say this because the files on my P.C are still customized, but I cannot re:ftp them without breaking the moon fix.

2) Does your "Downloads section have the latest versions with the "bugs " fixed?

What i am thinking is if the template manager advises me of a new version I could then download a "Bug-fixed" version from the forum downloads site, cut-and -paste my customized bits into it, and upload to my server, maintaining its customization.

in my case its only the trends and infos pages that were "zapped" with this update.

Hi Peter,

I've changed back infos.php page to v1.0 to have no bad effects
on this highly customized page.

For your installation, when updating with TMM module, 1st thing
it does is to rename current file to .bak. Then, delete new infos.htm,
rename infos.bak to infos.htm and all will be back to yesterday's status.

Then take the infos.htm and find image moon.jpg it have to be moon.bmp instead.
Trends and Image pages has no side effects, then stayed to 1.1

Thanks to help me doing a best template!

Best regards,
Jacques
