Hi Jimicek,

I also noticed this but haven't had time to look at it.
It appears there is a few references to thresholds in windrose.py

yrange = self.GetValue(plot, 'yrange', '31')

This is most likely a better question to ask the designer of pywws as it requires modifiction of the actual pywws base install.

I'll post a message over in the google group for the project tomorrow some time as i'm sure someone has done this before.

He has put in a read me file his working on at some stage possibly putting in a select unit function that will be able to be used in the weather.ini file that would be nice!

Hi,
I think that according to the pywws documentation available, the thresholds for kmph should be 1, 5, 12, 20, 30, 40, 56 - recalculated from raw m/s and mph (and rounded to some "nicer" number) - this should represent the first part of Beaufort scale.
Also slightly modified the scripts to have latest data always at the table top.
You can see at jimicek.dyndns.org:8080/meteo my evaluation version.
Regards,
Jimicek
