new site in penyffordd Nth wales

Hi everyone just got my first station a couple of weeks ago a wh 1080, installed it just in time to record the wind speed that blew away half my roof last Wednesday evening at 1821-71.9mph. I have established a web site used one of your templates though im having difficulty installing the forcast icons.

For your icons, folder images/meteo seems to be absent.

                    I looked in the images file and the meteo is there with the icons but nothing appears on my web page,having said that I did
get a sun icon for a short time. Sri for being a pain but would appreciate further suggestions

Hi Shapka,

Your site presently trying to display file -1.png and that file
isn't present, you could solve it by copying 1.png to -1.png
(This represent a rare forecast.... Exceptionnaly good!)

  Its me agn Jacques.
                                Ive been able to obtain a forecast icon now and seemed to have changed to i.png,however not done by the way u advised,basically cos
didn't understand being computer illiterate, uninstalled cumulus then re-installed then reinstalling ur template.

 Now in the risk that I will start annoying u with my ignorance I would like advice on another subject.

I have read on other posts members discussing html coding I assume to personalise their web sites etc.
                                   1.How do I go about html coding?
                                   2. what program/software do I need to do it although it looks a bit beyond my capability I was shocked that I was able to
set up my website although it took me two days and many attempts I'd never even heard of FTP or the likes before.

    I would appreciate any assistance u can offer me to e3nable me to become competent in this area

       Oops spoke to soon. lost icon agn when just refreshing web site,however when I go back to cumulus and do a web update
then refresh its back agn.

      A quick update since my previous posts my web site seems to be behaving now and I have also found your documentation
PHP for Dummies,having read it I think I will give it a miss as even that was quite alien to me. will stick were I am

Hi Shapka,

Forecast Icon seems to work good now!

Fo php, this is not a "so hard" step to go... as you discovered,
I've already writed a series on that subject... and Php templates
are created with "Dummy spirit" in mind!

But, that is why I'm having a lot of different templates
to suit all tastes!
