Help!! - website not displaying correctly
« on: September 20, 2012, 08:57:01 AM »
I have installed the html files in the public html folder on my web host, but the site is all messed up.  Have I put something in the wrong location?

Hi Scott,

Yes, things are real messed in your installation!  ;)
(Images are all renamed to .html instead of png.... etc)

Best thing, is to wipe all that and start clean!
In Weather Blues v1 in html, you have 2 folders web and internet
Simply put web folder CONTENT in your C:\Cumulus\web folder
and put all CONTENT of folder internet into your public_html website folder.

Cumulus will process all files that you moved to its web folder and upload it
to your website. Then your site will supposed to be running good!

I've refreshed installation guide yesterday, refer to it for easy step-by-step instructions:

Hope this help,

http://kctwolco2.freehostingcloud.com/index.htm I've uploaded my site manually via ftp, but none of my realtime data is being uploaded even though I've changed the settings in Cumulus.

Hi Scott,

I don't know what you mean by `manual ftp`,if you do it by ftp program, nothing is processed.
We could do a `manual update` by using File --» Web Update menu.

To have a real-time update you have to tell Cumulus to do it by using Configuration --» station..
But I don't experienced it and don't think Cumulus could update entire template at each 48 sec
(Fine-Offset delay). I think Realtime is intended for Realtime.txt file and WU Rapid fire.

But you could verify these options with timestamp  on files in your website hosting.

Jacques
