WB! All-Time record error
« on: March 29, 2013, 12:10:51 PM »
Jacques,

A minor error here in the All Time Records page as follows:

Lowest Pressure (sl) 31.33 inat 9:20 AM on 12 January 2013
Highest Pressure (sl)27.05 inat 4:34 PM on 20 February 2013
As you can see, the are reversed. The monthly one are okay. Just thought I should let you know,

Tom

Hi Tom,
Sorry, I haven't see your post  :-\

I've corrected this problem today. A new archive could be downloaded
(Month Patch For WB V1a) from download section. I've added a bit
of tweaking in alignment too.
better later then never!  ::)

Best regards,
Jacques

Hi Tom,

I've visited your site and saw that longest date cause problem.
Since I haven't thinked of am/pm strings, width wasn't enough.
Then, I've modified archive few minutes after.

Try it to see if its better!

Jacques

Hi Terry,

Easy to install, just take latest download.

In archive, recordsT.htm goes to your C:\Cumulus\web folder
all other files goes to your website weather folder.
(Nothing to modify in Cumulus!)

Jacques

I'm surely not a programmer but it seems if all the months where just abbreviated instead of completely spelled out the problem would be corrected..  Just a thought, Thanks so much, Terry

Terry,

Did you copy over the records.css file? That will make one heck of a difference. Also, I have found out through trial and error to make a change in the CONTENT section. Change the column pixels from:
                        <col width="275" />
                        <col width="155" />
                        <col width="215" />

to:
                        <col width="230" />
                        <col width="140" />
                        <col width="275" />

This allows the dates to fit in better and the whole page looks better because of that.

Glad to hear that. BTW, the reference to the column settings in my earlier message are in lines 202, 203, and 204 of the recordT.htm file. Making that change really helps! You can see in my records page at http://www.elgheko.us/record.htm.

Hi,

Since I have active testers, I've tryied an other way to have
allways the right alignment for last column.

So, a version 1.0b is now available for download.
